Summary: We came up for a wedding and had trouble finding a hotel room because of a concert being the same weekend! So we looked on VRBO, and I’m so happy we did! Chelsey was super accommodating and flexible and made an exception for our *slightly* larger group to stay since it was mostly kids and let us check out late on Sunday so we didn’t have to find something to do for 3 hours in between check-out and meeting a family member for lunch! The house was clean, she had snacks waiting for us in a basket on the counter when we got there, the beds were comfy, and her check-out process was super easy, with just a few simple requests listed. The two main rooms on the upper level have mini splits installed which was really nice because I like a very cold room to sleep in at night. We spent 85% of our time on the screened-in front porch, which was my favorite part of the house! I loved the porch swing and spent both mornings out there reading. The house is adorable and has so much old home charm! We also loved the big bathtub to soak in! Dollar General is less than a mile away and Casey’s is even closer, which was great when we forgot to grab a couple things. There Is a pocket park across the street to sit and look at the river and we also really liked having the bags game set up in the basement! It was something different to keep our bigger kids entertained. Can’t say enough good things about this stay! We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend and we would definitely stay here again!
